The free score vs the $19 report

The free tier is not a demo with the useful part removed. It is the diagnosis: your score, your verdict, and the three rules costing you the most points. The $19 report is the work: every rule, every keyword, every rewrite, and the corrected file.

Choose Free score if
  • —You only want to know whether the file has mechanical problems.
  • —Your score is already high and the top issues are obvious.
  • —You are comparing several resumes before deciding which to fix.
Choose Graded Resume if
  • —You have failing rules you do not know how to fix.
  • —You are tailoring to a specific posting and want the keyword table.
  • —You want the corrected file without rebuilding the layout yourself.

Why the score is free

02

A checker that hides the score until you pay is asking you to buy a diagnosis you cannot see. That is the wrong order. If the file is already strong, you should know that before spending anything.

The free tier is also the honest part of the product: the number, the verdict, and the three worst rules. Those three are usually enough to tell you whether the report is worth buying.

What the $19 buys

03

It buys the mechanical work: the full rule ledger, the keyword table, rewrites of the bullets that failed the content rules, and a corrected single-column .docx. All of it comes from the same engine that produced the free score — there is no human editor and no second, more expensive model behind the paywall.

It is priced once because it describes one file at one moment. There is no subscription, because there is nothing recurring to bill you for.

What it does not buy

04
  • —A human review. Nothing in the paid report is written by a person.
  • —An interview, or a prediction of one. The score describes machine readability, not fit.
  • —A rewritten career. The rewrites only restructure what is already in your bullets and may reuse only the figures you wrote.

How to decide

05

If the free score is high and the three issues are formatting, fixing them by hand is usually faster than reading a report. If the failures are spread across keyword coverage and bullet quality, the report saves you the tedious part.

If you are applying to one posting this week, buy the report for that posting. If you are iterating on a master resume, fix the formatting failures first and re-run the free check until the mechanical layer is clean.
